Buddy Bench

The McAuliffe School is SO lucky to have been given one of the most amazing gifts in the whole wide world! We are so excited to announce that Scott & Kate Middlemiss of the Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation have given OUR school a BEAUTIFUL Buddy Bench.
The Buddy Bench was an idea from a 1st grader who thought of a way to help kids who are feeling sad or lonely to have a place to sit and have friends check in and invite them to join in on some fun or just have a buddy to sit next to. What an amazing idea! There are now 10,000 Buddy Bench's across the country! We are so very lucky. We love our school!! We love Kate & Scott. We love the Big Heart Foundation. We can't thank you enough. And to pay this amazing gift forward... we have a surprise in the fall. So stay tuned!
