Hi Readers,

   In honor of “Read Across America Week” the McAuliffe will host a whole school “Drop Everything And Read” time on Friday morning at 9:30 in lieu of morning meeting.  The plan is for every adult to bring one of their favorite books to read aloud to a group of children.  Teachers who do not have classroom assignments at that time will just “drop” into a classroom to share their story.  Please use your scheduled independent reading time to reinforce the joy of reading.
