McAuliffe School PTO News:
The PTO at the McAuliffe School has had a great year thus far and we would like to thank all of you for your support. We have already had two fundraisers, the DiBuono catalog fundraiser and Square 1 Art, which have raised over $7500. With this money, we have been able to sponsor field trips, a BMX green party, and new guitar stands and magazines for Mrs Squeglia’s music class. Our 2nd annual Halloween “Spooktacular” was a BIG success with a lot of wonderful costumes and spooky fun. Thanks to all of you that donated Thanksgiving dinner food and helped assemble the Thankful Baskets in November. That is always a rewarding event for us. We meet every Thursday at drop off for our “Volunteer Hour,” which has been a great way for parents to connect with each other. Our monthly contests have been exciting for the kids and fun for us. The Terracycle recycling program has been a success. The money we are raising will be used to paint a mural behind the stage in the auditorium, as well as the bathrooms.  Our next PTO meeting is January 17th at 6:00 pm. We hope you are able to join us at this meeting!

From all of us at the McAuliffe PTO we wish you and your families
a safe and happy holiday season! See you in 2012!
